The goal of an Ayurvedic consultation is to help you find effective ways to restore balance and reestablish calm, while harmonizing with the rhythms of nature. The health system will support your overall wellbeing using tools from the Ayurvedic Sciences, which include diet and lifestyle recommendations, and a daily self-core regime for your personal constitution (dosha).

With treatment schedules that span two to three days, Wellness Journeys are designed to take you to a more rested and restored state of body and mind. Some are made for deep relaxation, others specialize in promoting sleep, cleansing and detoxifying, or improving breathing.  All Journeys include a range of unique therapies, from facials and body wraps to massage and reflexology, and can be customized to meet specific needs.

The Body Yoga Approach

The resort combines Yoga and other disciplines in different ways to offer you four broad approaches:

Yoga for body. With the right tuition Yoga can give you everything a gym can–but in a peaceful, safe and more holistic way. It stretches your muscles and helps you to build rock-hard abs, strong arms,toned buttocks, and a strong back and legs. Yoga also enhances flexibility, balance, agility, endurance and overall strength. Many people find it a safe and effective way to alleviate many forms of pain while boosting the feel good neurotransmitter, serotonin.

Yoga for mind. The mental attitude and discipline that form part of Yoga training often help people to overcome fear, anger, hatred and attachment. As you practise, the body responds and helps you to soothe your mind and increase concentration.

Yoga for soul. Yoga helps us to look beyond the material world, to experience the self and to feel more at one with nature. Many people find that Yoga helps them to live in total spiritual contentment.

Yoga for diet. Yoga helps us to merge our Western ideas of nutrition with Yoga principles to calm the mind and restore balance at all levels. When we feel good in ourselves we attract and bring out the same energy in others.
