Safari is just one of the Big 5 South African experiences you will surely enjoy as you explore untouched landscapes in search of majestic wild animals, but how about adding some culture, romance and spa to your adventure??

Cape Town 3

Cape Town is one of the world’s most beautiful cities and a top international destination.  It is quite easy to enjoy this unique city with its fascinating history, interesting culture, natural beauty, award winning wines and laidback lifestyle.

Here you can tour wineries, try amazing fusion foods, indulge in a few spa treatments, hike trail after trail, just lie on the beach and enjoy life.

For accommodations, we recommend Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel.  Set in the vibrant heart of Cape Town,  this 5 star property offers easy access to all that’s happening in this dynamic city.

Cycology is a new way to discover Cape Town. Hop on an easy-to-ride A2B Metro electric bicycle, pick from one of four tours and off you go.

Next, head off to Savute Elephant Camp is known for the herds of elephants that can be spotted roaming its plains.

This 5 star luxury lodge is fully inclusive and offers you game drives, and impeccable accommodations.  Honestly, you can’t beat the view and only 12 rooms are on the property!  This adventure is up close and personal!

Now, how about some romance?  We are certain that the Okavango Delta is the ultimate luxury safari paradise, and our choice resort is the Eagle Island Lodge in Botswana.

Situated on remote Xaxaba island among a web of waterways and lush vegetation, it overlooks a lagoon that attracts a breathtaking variety of big game and exotic birds. Explore the region by local canoe, roam on foot or take to the air in an exhilarating helicopter flight overlooking the magnificent Botswana landscape.

A wonderful secluded retreat, Eagle Island Lodge offers a safari vacation that brings together the excitement of discovery and an experience of the real Africa: this is the spirit of Belmond Safaris through and through.
