FULL ITINERARY
Day 1
Depart from New York (JFK) or Washington Dulles (IAD) for your flight to South Africa.
Day 2
On arrival in Johannesburg you will connect onwards for your 2 hour flight on South African Airways to Cape Town. On arrival in Cape Town you will be met by your driver for the short transfer to your hotel. Settle into your hotel and relax after your flight. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at The Mount Nelson Hotel
Day 3
After breakfast you will be met by your local English speaking driver-guide for your full day tour of the Cape Peninsula. The tour takes you out of the city along the Atlantic sea-board to the fishing port of Hout Bay, where you can partake in an optional boat excursion to Seal Island to view a colony of Cape Fur Seals. From Hout Bay continue over Chapman’s Peak Drive (weather conditions permitting) to the Cape Point Nature reserve, the south-western most tip of Africa. Here you will have time to explore the awe-inspiring scenery from all the vantage points, as well as the opportunity to visit the Cape of Good Hope.
You will have time for lunch (for your own account) before starting the return journey to the city. En route you will have the possibility for an optional visit to the penguin colony on Boulder’s Beach before visiting the naval town of Simon’s Town. Your last stop of the day will be the world renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Leaving the gardens you will return to the city. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at The Mount Nelson Hotel
Day 4
Depart the hotel for a half day tour of the Cape Winelands. This tour can either be taken during the morning or the afternoon. Enjoy a wine tasting, cellar tour and cheese tasting at Anura Wine estate. You then continue to Stellenbosch for a historical drive through the city with a walking opportunity. A second wine tasting is enjoyed in the winelands before your return to the hotel. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at The Mount Nelson Hotel
Day 5
A full day at leisure in this beautiful city, for you to catch up on the last minute sightseeing and shopping. Head for the quaint Greenmarket Square for local arts and crafts, or the vibrant V&A Waterfront for designer labels. Try to get to the famous Two Oceans Aquarium, located in the V&A Waterfront, it’s well worth a visit. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis at The Mount Nelson Hotel
Day 6
After a morning at leisure you will be met for your transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg and onwards connection to Maun.
On arrival at Maun Airport, you will be met and assist you to your onward scheduled light aircraft transfer to Savute Elephant Camp.
Set on the banks of a river in Chobe National Park, Savute Elephant Camp is a magnet for wildlife. Not only great herds of elephants but prides of lions–sometimes as many as 40 strong–gather here. Amazing creatures, including leopards, cheetahs and beautiful birds, can be seen–many visible from the viewing decks of guests’ own private tents. The camp has its own swimming pool, outdoor showers and alfresco dining in a traditional boma, adding to the experience of living in the very heart of the bush.

Day 8
The morning is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities on offer. After breakfast a camp representative will transfer you to the airstrip for your short scheduled light aircraft transfer to Eagle Island Camp.
The watery wonderland of the Okavango Delta teems with animals of infinite variety. Watch game from a viewing platform, take a guided walking tour or head out into the lakelands by mokoro canoe. Not only hippos, giraffes, elephants and other big game can be spotted, but also some 460 bird species, including the rare fish eagle and lilac-breasted rollers. The camp’s location could not be more breathtaking, overlooking a lagoon and shaded by palms. At sunset, sip a drink at one of the world’s most romantic waterside bars, as animals and birds gather in readiness for the night ahead. Overnight on a Fully Inclusive basis at Eagle Island Camp
Day 9

Day 10

Day 11
Arrival in the United States at New York (JFK) or Washington Dulles (IAD) airports.
