Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival
An elaborate “Cinderellabration” topiary and an environmentally friendly Green Garden will bring fresh springtime flair to the 17th annual Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival March 3 – May 16, 2010.
Amid a colorful tableau of flowers, plants and topiaries, Walt Disney World® guests of all ages can explore myriad exhibits and activities geared toward gardening and outdoor fun.
New This Year! Community Gardens – See Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy, in topiary, as they tend their special community garden. A homage to Disney’s initiative, Give A Day, Get A Day Program.
Also new, is the First Ever American Gothic Mickey and Minnie Mouse (based on the 1930 Grant Wood painting) and, Herbs and Vegetables Home Grown – Canada Pavilion – presented by Rainbird Corporation. Discover how to use our water resources wisely.
Back from last year, is the Green Garden – Anyone can create an environmentally friendly garden; here’s where guests will learn about low-water-use gardens, incorporating native plants into their garden and recycling.
In combination with Give a Day, Get a Day, and the current promotion offering up to $750 off a Disney World Vacation, Destination Disney brings a world of celebration…again for excellent value.
